MONACO. Dear Followers, we started to build the website last spring. Despite some stumbling, due to the need to contain some unexpected fees, we managed to keep the date for rehearsals in September, entering a number of interesting pieces. Anyway, the real debut is taking place in these early days of October. For example, the important Italian community that lives or works in the Principality whished a bilingual website, English and Italian. This has obviously entailed an outflow. I understand the reasons for this request so well, that in time the website could be traslated in other requested languages. For the moment, thanks to the enthusiasm of my staff and to my deep intention to offer a perfect product, I foresee a work in progress. In terms of communication, the website  will be the novelty of the year 2017 in the Principality of Monaco. In fact, through our privileged mailing list and worldwide reporting, all Monaco’s many representations throughout the world will be contacted, involved and interested in everything about Monaco-Montecarlo. We will reach embassies, consulates, institutions and foundations, civil and military authorities, economic and financial forces, as well as the nobility and celebrities who have direct or indirect relations with Monaco. In short, the website will be a facility for the people caring for this small state. Since the ’50s, Monaco’s international popularity has boomed. The Principality has enjoyed glorious moments but also suffered a lot, as it happens to everybody. Today, following the path traced by his parents Rainier III and Princess Grace of Monaco, HSH Prince Albert II and his wife, Princess Charlene, are the worthy heirs and advocates of economic growth, social and cultural development of this wonderful paradise on earth. A nation of loyal subjects sustains and supports the social and economic perspectives that are proposed with foresight by the government and by the Prince himself. I am an Italian who in 2005 had the honor of being appointed by HSH Prince Albert and in the presence of his sister, HRH Princess Caroline, Knight of Monaco for Cultural Merits. I love and share the sovereign’s insight, his wisdom, his dedication to ensure a more sustainable future, as well as the interest that he shows for the sport as a mediator of peace.
