07 February 2018 – JIMMY’Z WORLD TOUR – During the Sanremo Song Festival that is taking place from 6th to 10 February 2018, Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo is ready at the Victory Morgana for an unforgettable night titled “San Remo Festival hosted by the famous Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo”– Music by DJ Ollie –
In the ’50s, the first Song Festival’s editions were held in the Sanremo Casino Venue. That nice building dating from the late nineteenth century is due to the famous French architect Charles Garnier, designer of the Paris Opera and of the Garnier Theatre in Monte Carlo. During the Sanremo Song Festival the Gala Press will take place on 5th February 2018. Since many years this side event of great impact is organized by the Montecarlo.eu senior editor Mr. Ilio Masprone -Knight of the Principality of Monaco for cultural merits. The event will takes place at the roof garden of the Casino, with a special territorial menu, wines and floral decoration for 200 guest. For decades, the Festival held in this charming Sanremo on the Liguria coast, so dear to Nordic tourists for its mild climate all year round, has become one of the largest Song Festival in the world.

At the Salon Rose the menu is concoted by Thierry Saez-Manzanares, for two people€130, including one glass of champagne per person. Of course, Cupid’s arrow should single you out during a romantic tête-à-tête in the sumptuous Salle Belle Epoque – Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo entirely dedicated to Love… there, the 5-course menu €180 per person (including 1/2 bottle of champagne, mineral water, coffee and valet parking).
If you prefer facing the big blue sea and the culinary symphony of Michelin-starred Chef Marcel Ravin, book a table for two at the Blue Bay – Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, where the Menu is €195 per person (Including 1/2 bottle of rosé champagne). La Brasserie of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo has a 1900 atmosphere. The Chef Franck Lafon, offers a charming and romantic complimentary ‘lover’s cocktail’ as an apéritif. Menu €85 per person (drinks not included). In the Gaming Rooms the Menu is €45 i per person (drinks not included). 14-18 February 2018 – “VENICE IN MONTECARLO – The Grand Masked Ball – Close your eyes … forget the phone and … Abandon yourself at the nicest night of your life! Under the patronage of S.A.S. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Monaco, and the support of the Town Hall and the Tourist Office of Monaco this splendid ball will open the international Carnival season on Saturday, February 17, 2018 and host the GRAND BAL MASQUE’ DE VENISE in Monte Carlo. For a weekend, the Principality will represent the spirit and the fairy-tale of the famous Carnival of Venice. This second edition of the event, especially dedicated to women, kicks off on St. Valentine’s day, 14 February, a crescendo of visual effects, sublime music, fascinating dances and artistic performances. It will be an unforgettable experience that will unite people coming from around the world to live a magical illusion and share a dream in which everything is possible. The high point is the Grand Masked Ball at the Salle des Etoiles on Saturday 17 February. Guests from all over the world are invited by Delia Grace Noble to come masked and dressed in Venice carnival costumes. The gastronomic dinner is accompanied by a philharmonic orchestra and a succession of dancers, singers and acrobats in tableaux inspired by the theme of universal love. Then the dance begins. And to end this magical event, on Sunday 18 February people will gather on Place du Casino and in the Café de Paris to sip a velvety hot chocolate and mingle with the artists, musicians and extras. 15 – 18 February 2018 – SIAM 2018 MONTECARLO – Salon International Automobile Monaco –More ecology, more innovations, more experiences… The second Monaco International Motor Show -SalonAutoMonaco- is about so much more than cars. It’s the motor show where ecology, innovation, technology and prestige combine with mobility. It is committed to sustainable and responsible development as well as reducing its environmental impact. From 15 to 18 February 2017 the legendary Principality of Monaco will be transformed into an International Open Motor Show, an unprecedented concept under the High Patronage of S.A.S. Prince Albert II of Monaco. At the heart of a State whose history is intimately linked to the Automobile, (rallies, grand prix, museum …) the 1st International Motor Show of Monaco will highlight clean, innovative and prestigious vehicles reinventing the traditional motor show. Monaco wants its big Salon. The approach is legitimate, although the general public mainly has the sporting aspect in mind with the famous Grand Prix Formula 1 and the recently concluded Monte Carlo Rally. 22nd February 2018 – THURSDAY LIVE SESSIONS – INUÏT – They are six, active both in attack as in defense, with notes reminiscent of Arcade Fire. It is the band’s young singer, Coline, who came to structure almost two years ago the adventure started initially among five boys (they were all childhood friends, with Pablo at the trombone, Rémy at the synth, Alex at the bass synth, Pierre at the sax and the drums, and Simon at the drums and in the chorus). Coline’s voice is both diaphanous and powerful, evoking both Björk and the Cocteau Twins, dovetailing wonderfully with the energetic melodies, which this band developed together in Nantes, under the influence not only of Radiohead, but also of electro and R’n’B, always with this concern to reach the greatest number of people possible. With its class and personality, this band seems able to open new horizons for both local and foreign music. 26th February -3rd March 2018 – COMEDY MONTE-CARLO FILM FESTIVAL – The 15th edition of the Festival created and directed by the Italian-Monegasque comedian Ezio Greggio will take place with a rich program of events will include the projection of all movies in competition. The award ceremony will be held at the Salle Prince Pierre on Sunday March 3rd with numerous international guests, shows and exhibitions by famous artists and awards dedicated to the great protagonists of international comedy and cinema.
27 February 2018 – LAUREUS WORLD SPORTS AWARDS – Salles des Etoiles –Sporting Club. As there is no better place to celebrate this legacy, we’re proud to announce that the Laureus World Sports Awards will be making our own comeback to Monaco on Tuesday February 27, 2018, for an evening of sporting celebration. The first Awards Ceremony was staged in the Principality in 2000, during which South African President President Mandela said duringhis now famous speech, “Sport has the power to change the world.” Mr Mandela’s inspiration led to the formation of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, which has improved the lives of countless young people.
Benedict Cumberbatch will host the 2018 Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco on February 27, honoring athletes around the world for their massive achievements in sports. This will be the third time the “Sherlock” star has hosted the famous award show, previously hosting the 2014 Awards in Kuala Lumpur and the 2015 Ceremony in Shanghai. Benedict, who is best known for his roles as Sherlock Holmes in “Sherlock,” playing Allan Turing in “The Imitation Game” and in the Academy Award-winning “12 Year’s a Slave,” is expected to bring his wit and humor to the stage to honor the athletes.
This year, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Lewis Hamilton, Mo Farah and Chris Froome will face off for Sportsman of the Year.
