As always in Monte Carlo, this 2019 Summer season is  a cornucopia of prestigious events: music, fashion, culture, sport and many others follow each other without interruption!

08-10 May 2019 – GRIMALDI FORUM – EVER MONACO – INTERNATIONAL FORUM & CONFERENCE ON RENEWABLE ENERGIES & GREEN VEHICLES – NICO ROSBERG AMBASSADOR OF EVER MONACO 2019. EVER Monaco is the pioneer event dedicated to sustainable mobility and renewable energy in the Principality. Established in 2005, it brings together the biggest players in the industry every year at the Grimaldi Forum. A professional forum where everyone is welcome, EVER Monaco will open its doors from 8 to 10 May 2019 in a larger space, to meet the growing demand from exhibitors. 9 May 2019 AT 6.30 PM – GRIMALDI FORUM – PUBLIC CONFERENCE OF MONTSE AGUER, CURATOR OF THE EXHIBITION “DALI, UNE HISTOIRE DE PEINTURE” – Special evening dedicated to one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, preparation for the great summer exhibition in Monaco. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the artist’s death (1904-1989), the Grimaldi Forum Monaco offers the public a great evening dedicated to Salvador Dali. This evening open to the public will delight art lovers of the unconditional “sacred monster”. First of all, Montse Aguer, director of the Dalí Museums and curator of the exhibition, will reveal the highlights of the Grimaldi Forum summer event: “Dali, une histoire de peinture” from 6 July to 8 September 2019. Through the presentation of some of the hundred works (paintings, drawings and photographs) exhibited this summer, viewers can discover the different phases of the artist’s creative process and recognize the influence of different painters to which Salvador Dali pays tribute. With the support of the Dalí Gala-Salvador Foundation, the screening of a documentary film of 2017 directed by David Pujol, written by Montse Aguer will follow. “Portlligat’s La vie secrète” is an essential documentary to understand the life and work of Salvador Dalí, his home, his laboratory and the surroundings. It received the award for Best Feature Film for the Fine Arts Film Festival (FAFF) in California. Discovering the Portlligat Workshop means accessing to a more intimate knowledge of Salvador Dalí. 11 May 2019 – 3rd GRAND PRIX OF FORMULA-E / EPRIX MONACO – The E formula will return to Monaco this year taking its place in the calendar, Saturday, 11 May 2019. As in the first edition, the races take place on a portion of the legendary Formula 1 circuit, in the winding streets of the Principality of Monaco. On a total length of 2 km, Formula E will use the same starting and finishing line as the F1. At the end of the straight line of the stands towards the port, the cars will run to take the hairpin before resuming the track of the traditional circuit: the tobacconist, the pool and the Rascasse. The Formula E FIA or ABB Formula E allows you to appreciate former Formula 1 drivers like Felipe Massa or Sébastien Buemi at the wheel of cars that develop up to 225K of power. 15-19 May 2019 – 7th EDITION – VILLAGE FASHION, SPACE FONTVIEILLE – MONTE CARLO FASHION WEEK – (MCFW ©) – UNDER THE SIGN OF MADE IN ITALY – The guest of honor of this edition is Alberta Ferretti who, on the evening of Saturday, May 18, will parade with the Cruise 2020 collection at the Yacht Club of Monaco. The designer, always a great supporter of ethical fashion, has recently launched a collection of garments made with carefully selected materials, with certifications that guarantee the recycled origin of the material, the use of biological fabrics and a reduction in the use of chemical substances. Alberta Ferretti, prestigious guest of honor, will unveil her 2020 collection, Saturday 18 May 2019, with an extraordinary fashion show at the Yacht Club of Monaco. 27 -30 June 2019 – TERRASSES DU CASINO DE MONTE-CARLO – ÉLÉGANCE ET AUTOMOBILE – Since 1890, the Monaco Automobile Club has made performance and elegance the essential components of the Principality’s DNA. Integrated in the program of the Montecarlo Rally of vintage cars until 2001, “Elegance and Automobile in Monte Carlo” will be back in vogue this summer. This event traditionally organized by the Automobile Club of Monaco, in collaboration with the Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer group, means rebirth and a desire to and amaze fans of iconic models. On the program: 50 stars cars, 1930s coupés, 1960s cabriolets and other famous prototypes will meet to take part in an institutional competition. The festivities will begin with a cocktail on the Terrasses of the Casino of Monte Carlo and, the next day, the various competitors will participate in a ride on the roads of the hinterland. This will be marked by a picnic on the road prepared by a chef and will end with a candlelight dinner at the Grill of the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo. 27-29 June 2019 – PORT HERCULES – 14th edition – INTERNATIONAL JUMPING MONTE CARLO – Since 2006, the Monte Carlo International Jumping brings together the best riders in the world rankings. The Monte-Carlo international jumping track is one of the most difficult circuits in the world. Full of obstacles, its main characteristic is that it is very short, very narrow, very sinuous. The smallness of its traces therefore requires pilots a mastery and an extreme technique that guarantees an exceptional show both for a passionate audience and for all those present. Jumping is both a jumping race and a race against time. The champions compete for the Grand Prix of the Prince of Monaco, the greatest reward of this stage.
