ANTIBES. After the cancellation of the show in 2020 for health reasons, the 2021 edition was expected more than ever in September 2021. Unfortunately, the “Salon d’Antibes Antiquités et Art modern” has been postponed but a new date has been established in Spring 2022! So, as for forty years now, the Antibes Art fair that will take place from April 16, 2022 to May 2, 2022 will be an unmissable event for all lovers of modern art and antiques! Located a stone’s throw from the city of Nice and the Principality of Monaco, Antibes plays host to the Antibes Art Fair every year. For lovers of modern art and antiques, and even the curious, this is no more and no less than one of the most important gatherings of its kind in the world. With handpicked exhibitors presenting their most qualitative pieces, the Art Fair has the air of an Ali Baba cave for anyone wishing to find a good deal. Each year, new exhibitors are invited to the show to ensure a constant renewal of the exhibits and thus maintain the place occupied by the Art Fair internationally. For more than forty years, the Antibes antiques, modern art and contemporary art fair is one of the most important and prestigious art fairs in France. As during a trip, each stand is a step that allows to admire some of styles of interior furniture, objects and artworks created over the centuries before they go with a private person or in a museum.  The Spring edition 2022, will officially launch the resumption of major international events on the Côte d’Azur! European customers and collectors have let the organization know their desire to be there to celebrate this revival with the town representatives, to celebrate freedom and the arts! The Salon d’Antibes has become an international benchmark and remains unique for its atmosphere, the works presented and its cosmopolitan clientele. On the shores of the Mediterranean, the elegant aisles of the show bring together stands converted into veritable galleries. Practical Informations: The 50th edition of the Antibes Art Fair will take place from April 16 to May 2, 2022, at the Esplanade du Pré des Pêcheurs, at the entrance to Old Antibes every day from 10,30 am to 7,30 pm – ACCESS: 15 minutes by car from Nice-Côte d’Azur airport or the A8 highway (Exit n°44: Antibes) – 10 minutes by walk from the Antibes railway station – PARKING- New underground parking « Pré des Pêcheurs » with 600 places under the fair – Free parking at the entrance of Antibes, in front of the « Fort Carré » – Valet parking, access by the old town – Entry fee 10euros (5 euros for students and minor under 18) – Free entry for disable persons and accompanying person – Free entry for the open air space – A new infrastructure will be specially set up to accommodate exhibitors and visitors on the Pré des Pêche esplanade in Antibes. New conditions for the selection of exhibitors, reception and security will be put in place as well as services which will contribute to the pleasure of visiting the Show.
