Il weekend era iniziato in salita: un problema al cambio nelle prove libere del venerdì e le solite voci critiche sulla competitività della Ferrari sembravano presagire un’altra gara difficile. Ma Leclerc, con la calma e la determinazione che lo contraddistinguono, ha trasformato le difficoltà in motivazione. Partito come unico tra i primi quindici con gomme soft, ha subito superato Lando Norris alla prima curva, mettendo in mostra grinta e lucidità tattica.
