MONACO – The Monte-Carlo Television Festival is celebrating its 65th anniversary with an edition that brings together some of the most beloved and influential figures in the international audiovisual industry. From June 12 to 16, the Grimaldi Forum once again becomes a meeting point for major television productions, international stars, content creators and entertainment professionals from around the world.
Among the most anticipated guests are Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan, stars of The Walking Dead: Dead City. The two actors have arrived in the Principality to promote the acclaimed spin-off of the iconic post-apocalyptic franchise, one of the headline events of the 2026 edition. Joining them is showrunner Seth Hoffman, who is also attending Monte-Carlo for the international premiere of the new season.
A major highlight of this year’s Festival is the presence of Kurt Russell, the Hollywood legend who will receive the prestigious Crystal Nymph Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to film and television. Also honoured this year is Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, one of Britain’s most acclaimed actresses, whose remarkable career has spanned more than four decades.
The Festival will also welcome Michel Drucker, one of the most iconic figures in French television, who will be presented with the Nymphe d’Honneur Award. Rising international stars Ester Expósito and Matthew Broome are also among this year’s distinguished guests and will receive special recognition celebrating the new generation of talent making an impact on audiences worldwide.
The programme also features public appearances, autograph sessions and fan events with the casts of several internationally successful productions. Among the represented series are The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, FBI and other popular television shows that continue to attract audiences across the globe.
Beyond the stars on screen, the Festival hosts producers, directors, executives from leading networks and streaming platforms, as well as professionals from every corner of the audiovisual industry. International premieres, conferences and discussions focused on the future of television further reinforce Monte-Carlo’s position as a key hub for global entertainment.
With a line-up that combines Hollywood icons, stars of some of the world’s most popular series and promising emerging talents, the 2026 Monte-Carlo Television Festival once again confirms its status as one of the industry’s most prestigious events. MONACO – Il Festival della Televisione di Monte-Carlo celebra il suo 65° anniversario con un’edizione che riunisce alcune delle personalità più amate e influenti del panorama audiovisivo internazionale. Dal 12 al 16 giugno, il Grimaldi Forum si trasforma ancora una volta nel punto d’incontro tra grandi produzioni televisive, star internazionali, creatori di contenuti e professionisti dell’industria dell’intrattenimento.
Tra gli ospiti più attesi figurano Jeffrey Dean Morgan e Lauren Cohan, protagonisti di The Walking Dead: Dead City. Le due star sono arrivate nel Principato per presentare l’acclamato spin-off della celebre saga post-apocalittica, uno degli eventi di punta dell’edizione 2026. Ad accompagnarli anche lo showrunner Seth Hoffman, presente a Monte-Carlo per la première internazionale della nuova stagione.
