In the heart of the Monegasque summer, when the Principality comes alive with glamour and dazzling lights, the Monaco Red Cross Gala once again confirmed its place as one of the season’s most prestigious and eagerly anticipated events—an evening where elegance and humanitarian commitment come together in perfect harmony.
On 18 July, the legendary Salle des Étoiles hosted the 77th edition of the Gala, a celebration defined by impeccable sophistication, exclusive performances and, true to tradition, unforgettable moments designed to delight and engage guests.
Over the years, the Gala has welcomed some of the world’s most distinguished personalities, from Christian Dior to Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly, as well as celebrated Hollywood stars and icons of American music, helping to cement the event’s reputation as one of Monaco’s most prestigious annual gatherings.
This year’s edition was attended by leading figures including Kate Forbes, President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and Caroline Cross, President of the French Red Cross.
The evening offered remarkable experiences from the very beginning, starting with an exceptional dinner created by Michelin-starred chefs Marcel Ravin and Thierry Saez Manzanares, with the support of the culinary brigades of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, followed by an exquisite dessert crafted by renowned pastry chef Cédric Grolet.
Among the evening’s most anticipated traditions was the now-iconic charity raffle, which continues to captivate guests year after year. It is within this unique atmosphere that the Gala reveals its deepest purpose: every contribution made by attendees helps support the work of the Monaco Red Cross, funding first-aid initiatives, social assistance programmes for vulnerable people and emergency relief operations, both within the Principality and internationally.
The surprises continued with a breathtaking fireworks display over the Mediterranean. Thanks to the retractable roof of the Salle des Étoiles, guests enjoyed an uninterrupted view of the spectacle beneath Monaco’s star-filled sky, creating one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
The celebrations then continued with the premiere of “SOUL! Where Legends Come Back”, presented at the Sporting Monte-Carlo. This immersive production traced the evolution of African American music, from the pioneering sounds of Chuck Berry and Little Richard to the contemporary artistry of Alicia Keys and Beyoncé.
The performance offered an emotional journey that seamlessly blended heritage with modernity, perfectly complementing the refined atmosphere of the Gala.
Later in the evening, guests gathered at Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo, where an intimate and sophisticated setting, enhanced by the performance of a live jazz band, extended the magic of the night in an atmosphere of timeless elegance.
As tradition dictates, the Gala also featured a meaningful artistic gesture. Belgian artist Johan Creten donated his work Éloge de l’Espoir (“In Praise of Hope”), a powerful creation whose apparent delicacy conveys a profound message of resilience and hope.
Yet beyond the splendour and prestige of the event, its humanitarian mission remains its defining purpose. Once again, the Monaco Red Cross Gala proved to be far more than a glamorous social occasion: it is a collective celebration where elegance and generosity are inseparably intertwined, reminding us that even in the world’s most exclusive settings, compassion remains the true star of the evening.

Nel cuore dell’estate monegasca, quando il Principato si accende di luce e mondanità, il Gala della Croce Rossa Monegasca si conferma come uno degli appuntamenti più prestigiosi e attesi della stagione, un evento capace di unire eleganza e impegno umanitario in un’unica, straordinaria serata.
Il 18 luglio, nella leggendaria Salle des Étoiles, si è celebrata la 77ª edizione del Gala, una serata scandita da un’eleganza impeccabile, spettacoli esclusivi e, come da tradizione, da momenti pensati per sorprendere e coinvolgere gli ospiti.
Nel corso degli anni, il Gala ha accolto alcune delle personalità più illustri del panorama internazionale, da Christian Dior al Principe Ranieri III e Grace Kelly, fino ai grandi nomi di Hollywood e della musica americana, contribuendo a consolidare il prestigio di questo appuntamento annuale.
Anche quest’anno hanno preso parte alla serata figure di primo piano come Kate Forbes, presidente della Federazione Internazionale delle Società di Croce Rossa e Mezzaluna Rossa, e Caroline Cross, presidente della Croce Rossa francese.
Le sorprese sono iniziate fin dall’accoglienza degli ospiti con una cena d’eccezione firmata dagli chef Marcel Ravin e Thierry Saez Manzanares, realizzata con il supporto delle brigate di Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, seguita da un raffinato dessert creato dal celebre maestro pasticcere Cédric Grolet.
Tra i momenti più attesi della serata, l’ormai iconica lotteria di beneficenza continua a rinnovare il fascino di una tradizione consolidata. Le emozioni sono proseguite con uno straordinario spettacolo pirotecnico sul Mediterraneo. Grazie all’apertura della copertura della Salle des Étoiles, gli ospiti hanno potuto ammirare i fuochi d’artificio da una posizione privilegiata, sotto il cielo stellato di Monaco.
La serata è poi entrata nel vivo con la première di “SOUL! Where Legends Come Back”, presentata allo Sporting Monte-Carlo. Una produzione immersiva che ripercorre la storia della musica afroamericana, dai ritmi pionieristici di Chuck Berry e Little Richard fino alle sonorità contemporanee di Alicia Keys e Beyoncé.
Un viaggio emozionale capace di fondere tradizione e modernità, esaltando ulteriormente l’atmosfera raffinata che ha caratterizzato l’intero evento.
A seguire, Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo ha accolto gli ospiti in un ambiente più intimo ed esclusivo, accompagnato dalle note di una live jazz band che ha prolungato la magia della serata in un’atmosfera dal fascino quasi cinematografico.
Come da tradizione, il Gala è stato anche l’occasione per un gesto artistico di grande valore simbolico. L’artista belga Johan Creten ha donato l’opera Éloge de l’Espoir (“Elogio della Speranza”), una creazione intensa che racchiude, nella sua apparente fragilità, un potente messaggio di resilienza e speranza.
