At the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, among the majestic superyachts moored in Port Hercule, one boat stood out for its innovative spirit: the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air. While not its official world premiere – which is set for boot Düsseldorf – its presence in Monaco offered the perfect stage to showcase what the future of luxury boating could look like.
Born from the collaboration between Austrian shipyard Frauscher and German icon Porsche, this 8.67-meter day cruiser combines craftsmanship, sportscar-inspired design, and cutting-edge electric technology. Powered by a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery and a permanent magnet synchronous motor derived from the upcoming Porsche Macan EV, the Fantom Air delivers impressive performance: up to 49 knots top speed, around 45 km cruising range, and fast-charging capability up to 270 kW.
The design, signed by Studio F.A. Porsche, gives the helm a distinctive automotive feel, with sleek lines, refined materials, and ergonomics that put the pilot in the position of driving a sports car – only this time, on water.
The Monaco Yacht Show proved that making a statement doesn’t require a 70-meter yacht: the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air captured attention as a symbol of innovation, exclusivity, and sustainability. In Monte Carlo, where luxury meets forward-thinking vision, this boat perfectly embodies the city’s spirit.

Al Monaco Yacht Show 2025, tra i giganti ormeggiati al Port Hercule, c’era un’imbarcazione che ha saputo catalizzare l’attenzione degli appassionati: il Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air. Non si trattava di un debutto assoluto – quello avverrà al boot Düsseldorf – ma la presenza a Monaco ha offerto un palcoscenico ideale per mostrare la direzione verso cui si muove la nautica di lusso.
Frutto della collaborazione tra il cantiere austriaco Frauscher e Porsche, questa barca da 8,67 metri unisce artigianalità, design sportivo e tecnologia elettrica d’avanguardia. Il cuore è un motore sincrono a magneti permanenti sviluppato sulla piattaforma della futura Porsche Macan elettrica, alimentato da una batteria da 100 kWh. Il risultato? Fino a 49 nodi di velocità massima, circa 45 km di autonomia a velocità di crociera, e possibilità di ricarica rapida fino a 270 kW.
Sul piano estetico, lo studio F.A. Porsche ha firmato la consolle, i sedili e i rivestimenti, con linee tese e minimaliste che richiamano il DNA automobilistico del marchio tedesco. Gli interni, con materiali pregiati e soluzioni ergonomiche, offrono al comandante l’esperienza di trovarsi al volante di una sportiva, ma sull’acqua.
Il Monaco Yacht Show ha confermato che non serve uno yacht da 70 metri per fare colpo: il Frauscher x Porsche ha saputo imporsi come simbolo di innovazione, esclusività e sostenibilità. E per Monte Carlo, dove il lusso incontra la visione del futuro, questa imbarcazione rappresenta alla perfezione lo spirito della città.
