Each bottle tells a story, not only of its terroir, but of the illustrious guests who have passed through Monte-Carlo over the decades.
At the heart of this underground kingdom is the expertise of the cellar masters, whose role goes far beyond conservation. They oversee acquisitions, manage aging strategies and curate bespoke wine experiences for collectors, connoisseurs and guests of the Société des Bains de Mer group.
The cellars also play a key role in the gastronomic identity of Monte-Carlo, supplying wines to the principality’s Michelin-starred restaurants, including Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris. Every pairing is conceived as a dialogue between haute cuisine and the world’s finest vineyards.

Nascoste sotto le fondamenta del leggendario Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Les Caves de l’Hôtel de Paris rappresentano uno dei più straordinari patrimoni vinicoli al mondo. Più che semplici cantine, sono un’istituzione viva, custode di storia, prestigio e savoir-faire enologico da oltre un secolo.
Create nel 1874 su richiesta del Principe Carlo III di Monaco, le cantine nacquero per rifornire il Palazzo del Principe e gli ospiti più illustri dell’Hôtel de Paris. Oggi si estendono per circa 1,5 chilometri di gallerie sotterranee e custodiscono circa 350.000 bottiglie, collocandosi tra le più importanti cantine d’hotel a livello internazionale.
