The Principality of Monaco is embracing the festive spirit with the return of two of its most beloved traditions: the Foire Attractions funfair, already in full swing, and the open-air ice rink, set to open in early December. Together, they transform Port Hercule into a vibrant stage of light, laughter, and winter charm.
The Magic of the Funfair
The famous Monaco Funfair — or Foire Attractions — opened its doors on October 17 and will delight visitors until November 19, 2025. Each autumn, the waterfront becomes a playground for all ages, with more than 80 attractions filling the port with music, color, and excitement.
From classic bumper cars and the iconic Ferris wheel to high-adrenaline rides such as “Gyroscope” and “Party The Best,” the fair blends nostalgia and thrill. Food stands line the promenade, serving crêpes, roasted chestnuts, and cotton candy under the glow of the Riviera lights.
Admission to the site is free, while each attraction is individually priced. The fair is open daily from late morning to late evening, with extended hours on weekends and on November 19, Monaco’s National Day. Controlled entry points ensure smooth visitor flow and safety without dimming the festive energy.
“The Foire Attractions is part of Monaco’s autumn tradition,” said one of the organizers. “It brings families and friends together before the start of the winter season — a celebration of joy and community.”
The Return of the Ice Rink
When the funfair’s lights fade, the festive magic continues just a few weeks later. After a three-year absence, Monaco’s open-air ice rink returns to the Stade Nautique Rainier III from December 5, 2025 to March 1, 2026.
Overlooking the yachts and the Mediterranean, the rink offers a uniquely Monegasque experience: skating by the sea. The 1,000 m² surface will once again welcome adults and children alike, with a smaller area reserved for beginners. Skates and helmets will be available for rent, and residents and students will benefit from reduced rates.
“It’s a joy to bring this winter tradition back,” said a spokesperson for the Mairie de Monaco. “The rink represents everything Monaco stands for — elegance, sport, and family spirit.”
Between the thrills of the funfair and the elegance of skating by the harbor, Port Hercule promises a season filled with warmth, light, and laughter. In Monaco, even winter feels radiant.

Il Principato di Monaco entra nel clima delle feste con due appuntamenti amatissimi: la Foire Attractions, il celebre Luna Park già in piena attività, e la pista di pattinaggio sul porto, che tornerà a brillare da dicembre. Insieme, trasformano il Port Hercule in un luogo di gioia, luci e magia d’inverno.
Il Fascino del Luna Park
La tradizionale Foire Attractions ha aperto i battenti il 17 ottobre e animerà il porto fino al 19 novembre 2025. Ogni autunno, Port Hercule si trasforma in un grande parco dei divertimenti con oltre ottanta attrazioni per tutte le età: dalle autoscontro alla ruota panoramica, fino alle giostre più adrenaliniche come “Gyroscope” e “Party The Best”.
Tra luci colorate, musica e profumo di crêpes e zucchero filato, l’atmosfera è quella delle grandi fiere di un tempo, ma con lo sfondo unico del Mediterraneo e degli yacht illuminati.
L’ingresso è gratuito e le giostre prevedono biglietti singoli. Il Luna Park è aperto ogni giorno dalla tarda mattinata fino a sera inoltrata, con orari prolungati nei fine settimana e durante la Festa Nazionale del 19 novembre. Sono stati introdotti varchi di accesso per garantire sicurezza e comfort a tutti i visitatori, senza rinunciare all’allegria e al fascino del luogo.
“La Foire Attractions è parte della tradizione monegasca,” raccontano gli organizzatori. “Unisce famiglie e amici in un momento di festa che anticipa la stagione invernale.”
Il Ritorno della Pista di Pattinaggio
Quando le luci del Luna Park si spengono, la magia continua. Dopo tre anni di assenza, torna infatti la pista di pattinaggio all’aperto sullo Stade Nautique Rainier III, aperta dal 5 dicembre 2025 al 1° marzo 2026.
Affacciata sul mare e sul porto, la pista offrirà un’esperienza unica: pattinare al tramonto con lo sfondo del Rocher e delle luci del Principato. Con i suoi 1.000 m² di superficie e un’area dedicata ai bambini, l’impianto accoglierà famiglie, appassionati e curiosi. Saranno disponibili pattini e caschi a noleggio, con tariffe ridotte per residenti e studenti.
“È un’emozione riportare in vita questa tradizione invernale,” ha dichiarato un portavoce del Comune di Monaco. “La pista è un simbolo di sport, eleganza e convivialità — esattamente ciò che Monaco rappresenta.”
Tra il divertimento del Luna Park e la poesia della pista sul mare, il Port Hercule torna ad essere il cuore luminoso del Principato. Anche quest’inverno, Monaco promette sorrisi, emozioni e un tocco di magia mediterranea.
