Monaco Next Generation: The People Driving Change

Alexandrine Noghès

EN.
Young minds in the Principality of Monaco are contributing to its development across various fields, from education to sustainability, technology and environmental protection.

Through concrete projects and initiatives, the younger generations are turning ideas into opportunities, responding to the needs of the local area and its community.

Among these initiatives is Mentors Club Monaco, founded by Alexandrine Noghès at the age of 16. The project connects high school students with professionals from different sectors, offering them the opportunity to learn about career paths and acquire useful tools to guide their educational and professional choices.

The digital world also provides opportunities for new entrepreneurial ventures, as demonstrated by Manila di Giovanni, founder and CEO of DWorld, a startup through which she has developed a three-dimensional representation of the Principality of Monaco, with the aim of enabling users to explore the territory digitally and opening up new opportunities for tourism and commercial promotion.

Along the lines of technological innovation applied to sustainability, there is Net0, a startup founded by Sofia Fominova and Dmitry Aksenov, which develops solutions to help businesses and institutions measure and reduce their environmental impact.

In collaboration with the Government of Monaco, the startup has developed two carbon footprint calculators: one for tourists and the other for event organisers. These tools make it possible to estimate the emissions associated with travel and events, raising users’ awareness of their environmental impact in a territory characterised by heavy tourist flows and numerous international events.

The experiences of these young people demonstrate how change can take shape through diverse initiatives, born from the ability to identify opportunities and transform them into concrete projects that can contribute to the future of the Principality.

IT.
